I'm Rachel, married to Ben, mommy to Titus, Zion & Eden. They're my favorites and if you knew them, you'd understand why. I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska...which gives me my very well-rounded, 'I've lived in 60 below weather, I can live through anything' nature. Then when I was 14 my family moved to Vicente Guerrero, BC, Mexico and my dad was a doctor at the orphanage there...which gives me my 'we don't really have it that bad' perspective on life. I went to school in Portland and met my husband there...which gives me my big liberal city living experience. Then we moved to his home town, Bend, Oregon, where we spent 5 1/2 years...which gives me my perfect town, perfect weather experience...And now we are in Portlaoise, Ireland, a far away land...which gives me my 'I've sold everything and moved overseas, so ha!' comeback.
I hope you enjoy taking a step inside my journey as a mom and wife. Apart from those roles, I love to create. It energizes me and makes me feel like I'm doing what I was made to do. And when I have a house of my own one day, I will chronicle my projects for you to see. I love Jesus and am pursuing, to the best of my ability, a life that would glorify Him. So here you will see my ramblings, creative pursuits, and maybe some insight here and there that will hopefully encourage, inspire and make you smile.
